Sun Protective Resort Wear

Posted in sunscreen by sunscreensquad on February 9, 2010

In Australia last year, there were TV commercials running which featured beautiful, tanned model Jen Hawkins parading around in a bikini, while fashion people said “cover up from head to toe”. I am confused by this message. Cover up with what? Sunscreen? Most people don’t know how to use it properly, and beautiful UV clothing is non existent. The ads left me scratching my head.

Does anyone know where to get a beach cover up which has high UPF50+ and isn’t made for my gran?

    Dear Pale Girl,

I understand your frustration and the mixed messages we get about how to protect your skin from the sun. For years I searched for the perfect sun hat to protect my face; especially when driving my car. Sunscreens no matter how much I put on even the new broad spectrums really did not work unless I constantly re-apply and lets face it that is not always possible. I ended up creating my own unique hat that offers several ways to wear your ETSIS Hat while “Escaping The Sun In Style”. Our hats will be coming your way to Australia by June 2011 at the Bamboo Store. What I also would like to share with you is a very unique product called SUNGUARD this might help solve part of your dilemma finding fashionable sun protective clothing. This product actually allows you to add sun protection to almost any garment if it can be machine or hand-washed. Keep in mind that it is the weave of the fabric that helps protect you along with the addition of the SunGuard product. This also allows you the freedom to buy fashionable clothing and turn it into Sun-Safe-Clothing. Much Aloha SunEscaper/Devra.
